Vivere Fortis is committed to compliance with all relevant data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation effective 25th May 2018 (which replaces the Data Protection Act 1998) and Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.
What information is collected about you?
Vivere Fortis collects information (contact details, date of birth, medical information when provided) about you when you contact us, have a first assessment, register/sign for a program/service/agreement with us. Vivere Fortis also collects information when you voluntarily complete forms (Health questionnaire, Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaires, Nutrition Diary, Informed Consent form), customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions. Training or meeting notes are also kept when relevant for the sole benefit of improving performance or provide safe activity design.
All personal and medical information are strictly confidential, protected and kept securely and will never be divulged to any third party (unless you specify otherwise in case of multidisciplinary work involving your health status).
These information that may be kept are used to assess your health status and design a safe and relevant program.
At the end of your journey/program with Vivere Fortis, all information is destroyed and deleted.
How will we use the information about you?
Vivere Fortis collects information about you to send you a quote, process your order (such as your name, postal address and e-mail address, and demographic/profile information (for instance, your postcode and age), to manage your training program and health related issues and if you agree, to contact you by email, via social media, SMS, post or telephone, about other products and services we think may be of interest to you.
We shall use your personal information for: a) performing the services which you have requested; b) for delivering any prizes, or discounts which you may be entitled to through promotions or competitions run by Vivere Fortis; c) for any regulatory or legal purposes imposed on Vivere Fortis (for instance for reporting to the Financial Conduct Authority); d) for informing you about other services and products provided by Vivere Fortis which may be of interest to you (where you have provided your consent); and e) for any other legitimate interest of ours

Access to your information and correction

Vivere Fortis wants to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
How long we will keep the information for?
Your information will be kept for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which the personal information is processed. In doing so Vivere Fortis may retain such information for a reasonable time to prevent fraudulent activities, for our own data management requirements and to protect coaches in the event of any legal claims and complaints.
Social plugins
The Website may contain social plugins from social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. If you visit a website containing such a plugin, your browser can establish a direct connection with the servers of those social media platforms and transmit information about your surfing behaviour to their servers (e.g. even if you do not click the “Like” button). If you are logged into one of the social media sites, the social media platform can assign the visit to your social media account. Vivere Fortis has no influence on the type and scope of the information collected and transmitted but may receive information through such channels and you may receive marketing from us via such social media platforms based on your browsing habits.
